Watercolors
Watercolors by Duchess Boyles are varied in theme ranging from Nature Scenes to Abstract. When I get ready to paint, I never really know what the final creation of color on the paper will look like. My one blog shares what I mean by this. Painting With Your Mind Closed But Your Eyes Open!

The darkness within the indigo color is intriguing to me and I liked to use it often. This is one of my more favorite watercolors. I use special post cards made for painting. the have a wonderful texture and since I don’t ever know what the final painting will look like, it’s always a surprise for me and more like a gift that I fully embrace and am thankful that I have this talent.

I have over 100 watercolors that I’ve done and I’ll be continuing to create this website with pages of my creations that range from my watercolors being made 3-Dimensional by adding clay, metal, glass and other items that allow my watercolors to be more than a flat surface of expression.

I did a painting for our sons birthday party. We used it for invitations and then in 2017, I had prints made of the painting which is post card size. I purchased black 8″ x 8″ shadow boxes that I then started creating my Shadow Box art where I’d sculpt with different items bringing more intrigue to the viewers of my watercolor creations.

This page and website are still being created and many more of my creations will be added. Thanks for your patience.
